The Postformer Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a comprehensive 7 page procedure outlining the safety steps for the operation of a Postformer.

The Postformer procedure is ready to use and is not a blank template. Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand. It is then ready for printing and to be incorporated as part of your overall OHS System.

The Postformer procedure can be used as part of your OHS inductions, for Tool box talks or tender applications.

Completion and Maintenance:

Ensure power is isolated from post former when complete and before undertaking any maintenance/repair work. If not practicable, use inching function.

Clear trimmed chips from machine. Use industrial vacuum to clean up dust/waste materials.

Ensure:

• Guards are undamaged and functional
• Manufacturers instructions for servicing
