Trench Collapse Work Method Statement
The Trench Collapse Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a comprehensive 8 page procedure. This SWMS covers general emergency procedures in the event of a trench collapse.
All precautions must be taken to ensure that a trench collapse will not occur. Always ensure area is made safe for rescue personnel. Trench collapses can occur from unstable soil and inadequate shoring. It is important to note that any rescue action may act to disrupt the temporary stability of the trench and cause further collapse.

Simply add your company details, ABN, and include any site specific details or risks and make it specific to the task at hand.
