Before Using Pressure Cleaners - Ensure:

  • Position the cleaner as close as possible to the water supply.
  • Connect the electric lead to a safety switch.
  • Ensure that the electric lead will be away from the area to be cleaned.
  • Connect the water hose and check that it is secure.
  • Connect the high pressure hose and gun.
  • Check the operation of the gun safety switch and trigger.
  • Check the distance that can be covered before the cleaner will need repositioning.

When Using A Pressure Cleaner

  • Operate the gun safety switch and trigger so that water runs out of the nozzle.
  • Direct the water away from the cleaner and turn on the power switch.
  • Direct spray onto the work area.
  • Remember that the pressure can be reduced by simply moving the nozzle further away from the work.
