Carpet Laying Safety Notes
Airing the rooms after carpet has been laid is recommended. Any volatile organic compounds caught in the carpet during manufacture will dissipate within a few days.
Carpet laying can be hard on both your knees and your back. Correct manual handling and frequent stretching should be observed.
Existing damage: Identify and document any damage to the building or contents to prevent future conflict. Digital cameras are ideal for this task.
The Work Method Statement is in MSWord Format for unlimited printing and use and will be emailed directly to you.
