Preparation

Inspect equipment. Ensure:

• Unit is clean, free of oil, grease, concrete
• Sufficient oil/petrol
• No leaks
• Guards in place and undamaged
• Controls labelled and working
• No missing screw/bolts
• No cracked, broken or missing parts
• No misalignment or binding of moving parts
• Lock lever in place on cylindrical connector
• Hoses/couplings/vibrator head secured adequately
• Hoses undamaged, free of wear/tear
• Vibrator head/hose assembly suitable for make/model of unit
• Operator not fatigued or under influence of drugs/alcohol
• Hair tied back, no loose clothing or jewellery
• Operator able to handle vibratory force of unit
