Industrial Sewing Machine Safety Notes

Before Operating an Industrial Sewing Machine:

  • Apply just one drop of oil to each of the designated holes using the supplied oil can daily.
  • Over-oiling the sewing machine will encourage grime buildup and can lead to premature part failure.
  • Pull the bobbin thread through the needle hole in the needle plate before starting to stitch.
  • Never sew with the presser foot in a raised position.
  • Hold the fabric firmly between your fingers and allow the feed dogs to pull the fabric.
